The location of the resort is great, being close to the park and only a short drive to Yosemite's west entrance. The shared kitchen, showers, laundry facility, and restaurant provided everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were equipped with lockers and air conditioning for a comfortable stay.
The cabin we stayed in was a bit of a walk from the parking lot and toilet/shower facility, which could be inconvenient for those with young children or mobility issues.

Quirky forest location with cabins at different levels. Private facilities in nicely furnished cabin. Decent food at cafeteria-style restaurant. Close to Yosemite, about an hour by bus. Enjoyable sauna and jacuzzi after hiking.

The location of the resort is very convenient, just a short drive away from Yosemite Valley. The private room with a private bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff at the reception were friendly and accommodating, answering our questions with kindness and patience. The kitchen/cafeteria was nice and clean, providing a pleasant dining experience.
The intermittent internet connection was a downside, making it difficult to stay connected and access online maps in the area.

My recent stay at Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was delicious. The rooms were beautifully decorated, like a French parlor from the 1800s. I've been coming here for years just for the food and it never disappoints. The staff at the cafe provided excellent service and the full-service menu was a great alternative to dining inside or closer to Yosemite. It's a rustic site, perfect for those looking for a unique experience. The shared kitchen had all the necessary appliances and there were fridges available. The location was also convenient, being close to Yosemite Valley. The private room with a shared bathroom and the tent accommodation were both great options.
While my stay was fantastic overall, there were a couple of drawbacks. Parking near my lodging location was difficult to obtain due to the facility being spread out over a hillside.

loved our recent stay at a rustic mountain resort in Midpines. The remote location gave us a true feeling of being in an old summer camp. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, and the beds in the rooms were super comfy. The on-site restaurant served delicious food at fair prices. Highly recommend this place.

I couldn't believe how much value we got for our money at this cool hostel within the national park. The room had such a unique and cozy vibe, and the location among the trees made it even more special. The staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Breakfast delights could have been warmer, but the yummy granola and yogurt made up for it.
